Miranda Kerr makes everything look amazing. After seeing her in a neon, black and white Country Road dress in the David Jones catalogue I had to race out and buy it!

Today PB and I went to "The French House" in Danks St. PB lives just around the corner yet we have never been. Our mistake! It was definitely a long overdue visit! You step into "The French House" and instantly you know you want to curl up on a velvet chair for hours and gossip with a group of friends. The room is filled with mood lighting, dark, lush furnishings and many, many pastries and sweets! The outside terrace is lined with lace and it makes you feel like you are in Paris via Waterloo!
PB had a bocconcini and tomato croissant and a bowl of mocha (a large coffee). I had an EBT. Everything is very well presented. Our drinks were served in dainty crockery on a silver butler's tray. Lovely touch! PB's croissant was delicious. The bocconcini filling was a lovely change to the normal tasty cheese and tomato. The pastry was buttery yet not overly oily.

We can't believe we hadn't discovered this gem earlier. We will definitely be back for a macaron, tart or quiche soon!
