I have such an obsession with bomber jackets and puffer vests at the moment, I just want to wear them all the time! I couldn't decide which one I wanted to wear so I thought why not layer so that I could wear them both! I kept the rest of my outfit pretty simple otherwise I would have looked like I had tried to put everything in my wardrobe on at once! Once again I have the same shoes on. When I buy a new item I tend to be a bit obsessed with it for a while and wear it all the time until I become smitten with the next item I buy!

Yesterday KJ and I went to "Palomino Espresso" in York Street. It has only been open a couple of weeks but you would never be able to tell. It is already very popular, has regulars and has settled in like it has been trading forever!

It is a very cute cafe. The menu is hand written on three big blackboards which hang on the wall. The other walls are covered with family photographs and pictures of their horses. The cafe's logo is a horse and there are quite a few horse knick-knacks lying about.

Regular Latte: $3.5
Large Latte: $4

When you walk inside the smell of freshly baked goods is heavenly. There is a large assortment of freshly baked cakes, muffins, quiches and a range of delicious looking sandwiches. Everything is homemade, lots on the premises (hence the freshly baked smell). It is so lovely to see food that is not commercial. The brownies and cakes are even displayed still in the baking trays and tins! I couldn't resist the chocolate and raspberry brownie that was fresh out of the oven. It was super fudgey in the middle, crispy on the outside and the fresh raspberries throughout it cut the rich chocolate flavour and gave it a nice zing. KJ had a lemon cupcake. She hasn't stopped raving about it. The cupcake was moist and buttery (so unusual these days) and the  lemon icing was beautifully tangy.

Raspberry and Chocolate Brownie: $3.5
Lemon Cupcake: $3.5

They use "Morgan's Coffee" and the origin of the coffee changes daily. The coffee was creamy and full of flavour. It also had great froth! I am going as far as to say it is the best coffee I have had in a really long time! They also use eco-friendly take-away cups with their horse logo stamped onto them.

We loved our experience at "Palomino Espresso" and can't wait to go back. The look of the sandwiches made our mouth water and we regretted not getting one for the rest of the day! This cafe is sure to bring a smile to all of its customers faces!
