I suddenly have a huge soft spot for navy, stars and all things spacey! I am aware the galaxy trend is all the rage at the moment but honestly I find most of the patterns a little tacky for me! I have however found my niche of galaxy - stars, moons and rocks!

I love this simple cotton "Milky Way" dress by Karen Walker. The space print totally pops out in a crowd! The material is also super soft and very comfortable. The shift style of the dress is timeless. What makes it go from ordinary to extraordinary is the frill around the cuffs on the sleeves. A little bit of a seventies flair! Pairing this with either silver heels or my silver kicks just adds to the starry vibe.

This dress was also extremely reasonably priced for Karen Walker. I am really loving some of her pieces this season. It is definitely a great trans-seasonal piece and perfect for this rainy but muggy weekend here in Sydney.

This rainy weather also called for matching knits in our office. Cass and I turned up in the same Shak knits the other day. I guess we both have great style!

P.S. I have just undertaken another DIY project of rock necklaces, which would go perfectly with this dress. Stay tuned as they will be finished very soon!

Hey Cass, look what I found ...
